The 1st Worldchampionship of a fantastic new sport is near !

On friday November 14th 2003 the 1st battle for the title of CHESSBOXING World Champion is going to take place at the Paradiso in Amsterdam.

The World Chess Boxing Organization (WCBO) is sending the two chessboxers ,,Iepe the Joker’’ and ,,Luis the Lawyer’’ into the ring.

On the eve the WCBO will be showing olympic boxers and grandmasters in chess. There will be pressconferences and people will be given the opportunity to place bets.
Chess analysts are going to comment the board-fight, boxing judges will be counting the punches. The Worldchampionship finishes with a CHESSBOXING-gala.

For those of you near Berlin/Germany we´ve organized a shuttlebus to Amsterdam and back for a bargain 99 Euro. Departure from Berlin thursday, Nov 13th around 13.00hrs, return from Amsterdam saturday, Nov 15th around 13.00hrs.
